Credits and costs

Lead Finder runs on the same shared workspace credit balance as everything else enrichment-related. Two actions cost credits, at two different points in the flow, and the panel shows the running total the whole time.

Import (email reveal)

Per contact, only when an email is actually found

1 credit
  • Search costs 1 credit per page of 25 results, charged on every completed search call — including one that comes back empty. Profile details (name, title, company, and enrichment context) are returned right away; only the email address stays blurred, behind a Reveal · 1cr marker.
  • Import is where the email actually gets revealed and the contact lands in your list. It costs 1 credit per contact, but only for contacts where an email is actually found — a contact that comes back with no email costs nothing.
  • Credits for an import are reserved the moment you confirm, then either charged (email found) or released (no email found) once the result comes back — so a large batch can't overcommit your balance mid-flight. Imports over 100 contacts are automatically split into batches of 100.

The running total

The Import Queue panel shows your current selection count, its maximum possible cost, and your remaining balance — updating with every checkbox click.

Buying credits

Credits are bought from a Buy credits modal — reachable from the dashboard balance card, the Enrichment page, and Find Leads itself once your balance runs low — not from Settings → Billing, which only shows your plan and usage.

Four packs exist today: 200 credits for $10, 500 for $25, 1,000 for $50, and 2,000 for $100 — a flat $0.05 per credit at every size, no volume discount. Checkout runs through a real, live payment flow (redirect to a hosted checkout page, webhook-confirmed) — this isn't a placeholder.

Refunds and the free signup balance

Every new workspace starts with 100 free credits, granted at signup rather than tied to any purchase. Beyond that, purchased credits are refundable if you cancel — but only above a $5 minimum: if your remaining balance is worth less than that, it's cleared with no refund rather than processed as one. Refunds match against your actual purchase history, most recent first, and are capped at what you actually paid.

Because the 100 signup credits were never purchased, they're simply excluded from this calculation — there's no special "non-refundable" flag on them, they just don't have a purchase record to refund against.

The enrichment ledger

Every credit-charging action — search or import — is logged as its own ledger row, viewable in three places:

  • Find Leads → Ledger opens a slide-out drawer showing your last 20 search and import entries, each with its status (result count, or Found/Not found).
  • View full ledger in that drawer goes to Settings → Enrichment Ledger, which shows every entry ever logged — Date, Target Contact, Action, Source, and Cost Charged — for all enrichment activity, not just Lead Finder.
  • The sidebar's own Enrichment page shows the same full history plus three summary stats: total balance spent, total tasks processed, and cache hit rate.

The full-ledger tables don't show a per-row status column — that detail (result count, or Found/Not found) is only visible in the Find Leads drawer. The full table also relabels the raw provider into a friendlier "Source" value rather than showing it as-is.
