Custom templates

By default, warmup traffic is generated automatically. Adding your own templates blends real, on-brand copy into that traffic instead of relying entirely on generated content.

Adding a template

Each inbox can hold up to 5 custom templates, managed from that inbox's warmup detail view. A template is a name, a subject, and a body — and can be toggled on or off without deleting it.

Add template

Once 5 templates exist for an inbox, Add template is disabled until one is removed — there's no way to exceed the cap.

How templates are mixed in

Custom templates don't replace generated warmup content — they're blended in alongside it. ForgeSend mixes your enabled custom templates into roughly 20–40% of an inbox's warmup traffic, with the remainder staying auto-generated.

That mix is deliberate: sending the exact same template on every single warmup email would look mechanical to a mailbox provider. Blending in generated variation alongside your own copy keeps the traffic looking like normal, varied correspondence.

Disabling a template removes it from the mix immediately without deleting it — re-enable it later and it's back in rotation with the same content.
