Warmup
Warmup gradually ramps up send and reply activity on an inbox before you point real campaign volume through it, building the sending history mailbox providers use to trust a sender. It's available for every inbox you connect to ForgeSend.

The Warmup dashboard
Warmup in the sidebar opens a dashboard listing every connected inbox with its current warmup status, alongside a monthly volume pool that resets each billing cycle.

Status is one of Not started, Awaiting consent (Microsoft inboxes mid-way through the extra consent step warmup needs), Ramping, Maintenance, or Paused. The Placement column is a 7-day average, shown as a tooltip on hover. A search box filters by email or domain; status pills above the table narrow the list to one status at a time.
With no inboxes connected at all, the dashboard reads "No connected inboxes yet" with a Connect an inbox button — that button goes to the Inboxes page, since connecting an inbox itself isn't a warmup action; warmup only runs on an inbox that's already connected.
Bulk pause and resume
Checking multiple inboxes in the dashboard list reveals Pause selected and Resume selected actions, so you don't have to open each inbox individually to manage warmup across a batch.
Up to 200 inboxes can be included in a single bulk action. Each inbox is paused or resumed independently, so a failure on one doesn't block the rest — if any fail, the dashboard reports how many of the selected inboxes succeeded and shows the first error.
An inbox's warmup detail view
Selecting an inbox from the dashboard opens its own detail view — a separate page with a shared status header, and four tabs below it: Overview, Deliverability, Placement Test, and Templates.
The status header (visible no matter which tab is open) shows the inbox's current lifecycle status, a "Synced …" timestamp, a refresh button that re-checks ramp status and health score on demand, and the primary action button — its label changes with the inbox's state:
- Start warmup — not started yet
- Continue to Microsoft — a Microsoft 365 inbox mid-way through the extra provider consent step warmup requires
- Pause — currently ramping or in maintenance
- Resume — currently paused
This page covers the Overview tab. The other three each have their own page:
- Deliverability — the placement & reputation trend chart, the four health-score grades, and blacklist monitoring
- Placement Test — on-demand seed-inbox placement tests with a Mailivery credit wallet and full results detail
- Templates — up to 5 custom templates blended into this inbox's warmup traffic
Ramp curve and sending schedule
The Overview tab opens with two cards side by side.
Ramp curve
Sending schedule
Which hours and days warmup traffic sends from this inbox.
Ramp curve plots the inbox's forward-looking planned volume ramp-up — where its daily send volume is scheduled to go over the coming days — not a log of emails already sent. Until warmup has started, it reads "No ramp curve data yet — refresh status once warmup has started."
Sending schedule controls which hours and days of the week warmup traffic actually sends. It's preset-only — six options, three time windows (8am – 6pm, 7am – 7pm, 6am – 10pm) each available for Weekdays or With Weekends — plus a timezone dropdown covering the major IANA zones. Picking a preset doesn't take effect until you click Set schedule; unlike the volume and reply-rate controls below, this one requires an explicit confirmation click.
Volume presets — Ramping, Maintenance, and Custom
Every inbox's warmup volume is set from three modes, further down the Overview tab:
Target volume
30 emails / day
- Ramping — a fixed target of 30 emails/day, meant for an inbox that's new to warmup or hasn't sent real campaign volume yet. Clicking it applies instantly.
- Maintenance — a fixed target of 15 emails/day, for an inbox that's already built up reputation and just needs to keep it fresh between campaigns. Also applies instantly.
- Custom volume — any target you set directly via a − / number / + bar and a Set button, up to a 49 emails/day ceiling that applies regardless of which mode is active.
Warmup volume shares the same daily cap as real campaign sending on that inbox — a target higher than the inbox's own daily sending limit is rejected, so warmup traffic can't crowd out actual campaign sends.
Reply rate control
A single reply rate control — the same − / number / + bar as Custom volume — controls what share of warmup emails to this inbox get a reply back, adjustable between 10% and 30%.
Reply rate
15%
A newly provisioned inbox defaults to 15%. Raising this increases how often other inboxes reply to this one's warmup emails — part of what teaches mailbox providers this is a real, engaged mailbox.
